i found this cute skirt at target a couple of weeks ago. i liked it so much that i decided to make some for sadie this summer.
getting started....skill level: beginner
what do you think? of course i'm going to doll it up a little with a fabric flower or two. i'm going to make four more skirts with the fabric shown below. sadie is going to be so cute this summer.

I think it's darling! Did you use elastic or what? How does it stay up?
Can you invite me over so I can learn...I'm SOO beginner level of clothes making. Help a sister out! P.S. Sadie is adorable no matter what she wears...or doesnt :)
Cute skirt, and your fabric stash is nice, very nice. I love to sew too, my Mom taught me when I was a kid.
