Sadie is five months old now. We took her five month pictures at target studio so we will post pictures soon. The photographer did a great job at getting beautiful shots of our little sweet heart. Sadie is so special to us. We love her so much and she is growing into a shining little star. Her light is so bright, and she has a lot of love to offer. AJ and I are extremely grateful that she gives all her love to us. Of course, we want everyone we know and love to experience the goodness of knowing Sadie, and we are willing to share but not too much! We enjoy getting all the hugs, kisses, smiles, laughs, etc. She has a beautiful spirit, wonderful in every way.

three whole days without hubby
aj is going on a hunting trip with friends in texas this weekend. it's about four men going, including aj plus the dogs. this is aj's and lola's first time going hunting, and i'm really nervous. aj got himself a BIG knife so he can stab the pig when the dogs catch it. i'm kinda freaking out about the idea of aj running around in the dark with a knife strapped to his body. he has shown me five times where the knife will be strapped and that it's safe. wild pigs, knives, dogs, gums...i'm going to have a nervous break down. but i'm going to keep it together since i will be a single parent this weekend. i already miss aj, and he isn't even gone yet...... gotta run, hubby is leaving now!

happy father's day...we love you
Sadie and I thought it was time for us to spoil dad! so for father's day he will enjoy a day of relaxation at the resort and spa sanctuary. there he will receive a day of being pampered and served....treated like the king that he is. his day will include a 90 minute full body rub down in a private room that opens to a zen garden, full access to the resort's men's club, fitness center, pools, private hot tubs, etc. there is a part 2 that goes with aj's father's day gift but that will come later. right now, it's time for breakfast in bed.
we love you and thank you for being the best husband, father, and friend. you are our everything! exactly what your two girls need in their lives.

Time to Eat
Our sweet baby, we love her so much. Sadie is always happy, laughing , and smiling! She is so much fun, and a joy to be around.

A Great Weekend
Me, A.J, Sadie, my sisters Mia (birthday girl), Maxine, (my twin), and Anessa (little sis), Alex (mia's hubby), our father Alec, Neka (our niece), and Tara (Neka's daughter) all went to Redondo Beach. We ate tons of sea food, took lots of pictures, went for a walk on the pier, and overall enjoyed each others company.
Maxine and I thought it would be a good idea to surprise Mia with something special and unexpected for her B-Day. So we got her a COACH Bag! She was so happy and big smiles all day. I really love to see my family happy, and I'm grateful that AJ and I could do something special for her.
I got my little sister a purple tutu with a cute head band to match. She wore her tutu to the pier, and she want so cute. She was running around like she was the queen...and she was!
Anessa has such a bright light that shines for the world to see. I loved watching her run around and play with our dad. It reminded me of my childhood, and how my dad was the center of my world when I was a child. I'm excited to see Sadie and Anessa play together when they are older.
I'm still praying for the day when my sisters will move to Arizona. Life will be a lot more fun when we can have weekend get togethers, game night, weekly family dinner, and shopping with my three favorite girls. SOME DAY!
