December was such a busy month for my little family. i celebrated my 31st birthday on the 7th, we went to California to celebrated my big sister's graduation (more on that later), we rode the Polar Express to the "North Pole" in Williams, A.Z, and hubby and i hosted our first Christmas dinner with my family from California.
while we were on our way to the polar express we stopped at a deer farm where we got to feed and visit with a variety of other animals. as you can see ~S~ is no stranger to large animals. we also went to a drive through zoo called "Bearazona" where we saw black bear, wolves, white buffalo, big horn sheep, and other wildlife. it was truly an experience!

The Polar Express was definitely a Christmas highlight for us this year. For those of you who don't know, it's a reenactment of the book and movie "The Polar Express", and it is so exciting for all children both young and old. we got to ride the Grand Canyon railway to the "North Pole" where we met Santa...just like the movie! there were hundreds of children in their pajamas ready to go to this magical place. you could see the excitement all over their faces, it was so cool!!! once the train started to move we were served yummy hot chocolate and cookies, we read The Polar Express, and sang Christmas carols.she's on her way
