My dear friend Amy threw a baby shower for me on May 7, 2009. It was a wonderful party! Amy completely out did herself with a scrapbooking themed baby shower. The set up was beautiful, and everyone who came had a great time. Amy decorated the shower to match the colors in Sadie's room. Amy is so thoughtful. She is the best and I love her tons! I was happy to see that a lot of our friends and family from California came. Sadie was showered with gifts! AJ and I were so grateful for all the support we got, and for all the love that was shown to our sweet baby, Sadie. Here are some pictures that were taken at the shower.

I love this book! It's a poem book that describe the blessings and sacrifices that comes from adoption. There is a CD that comes with the book, and all of the songs are beautiful. I listen to the CD whenever Sadie and I are running errands. The CD isn't just music with a beautiful messages, it's also the "Baby Whisperer". So while Sadie is fast asleep in the back seat I get to listen to the songs and reflect on how blessed I am. We sent our birthmother a copy of this book last week. It's a perfect gift for anyone who has experienced an adoption.

My friend Audra had a baby girl, and she is just three weeks younger then Sadie. Audra and I took pictures of the girls while Sadie and I were visiting, they are so cute! We look forward to more play dates.

Daddy's Girl
Sadie loves her Daddy so much! When AJ comes home from work he changes his clothes into something comfortable, then plays with Sadie. AJ will talk to her, sing to her, and tell her stories. When Sadie hears her dad's voice, she lights up like a Christmas tree. It's the sweetest thing in the world! I can sit for hours and watch Sadie and AJ play. They are so cute together. Sadie and I are so lucky to have AJ in our life. Here are some adorable pictures of Sadie and her Daddy.
