i was mistaken for a teen mom this weekend.
do i really look that young? really?
i just think it's funny when random people come up to me...well, really they want to say hi to sadie. but they assume that i'm a teenager, and it isn't until i start speaking to them that they realize that i'm much older. i guess the bass in my voice gives it all away.
i have heard that giving birth, doing drugs, smoking, and drinking are aging factors. the giving birth part isn't an option, and the other three are out of the question.
what can i do to give myself an adult look? do i carry myself like a teenager?
come on people....i am really getting sick of this.

my sister-in-law is really slim too, and when they were first married she had jaw surgery which required braces afterward. Even though she had a 1-yr old, people thought she was 12. I found it rather humorous. eat it up!

You just look young. It is way better than looking really old. A benefit...like M. said, eat it all up, one day you'll look back at great that was.

The other thing to remember is along with the life choices LDS women make, we tend to start our families earlier than lots of other people, so we fall in that hard to define "young" age group (at least with first babies). I remember people thinking I was Drew's sister or sitter a couple times... and 23 didn't seem too young to have a baby, so whatever.

It's better than when the old guy in line at a fast food place told me my haircut made me "look younger"-- I was only 28.

*sigh*

I agree with the others saying to try to enjoy it!

Love you guys-
